'Create For Cross Exhibition' is an art exhibition me and Frida Green organised in support for the British Red Cross. We asked established illustrators/artists/designers and students/graduates to donate one or more piece of work for the show. For the duration of the show (3rd-9th of May) the work was subject to a secret auction, where the people who want to buy the work write down their contact details and the amount they want to pay, the winning bid recives the work and all the money was donated to the Red Cross.
LiveArt was supplied by the very talented Mr Gauky (www.mrgauky.com) along with local talent Mr Penfold and the brilliant Mister Millerchip. Liam Donovan supplied the beats for the opening event.
Other artists who exhibited were Alex Curtis, Foe (foedesign.co.uk), Simon Wild, James Shedden, Paula Metcalf, Me, Tim Peet (timpeet.co.uk) and many more.
The event raised over £800 for the British Red Cross.
So much love goes out to the artists and friends who without them, wouldn't have been a show!
This is the poster/flyer design I came up with for the exhibition.
